It has been a long-standing discussion to establish a college-specific publication for CEAT. The rationale for this is that a CEAT-based student publication can better cater to the needs of the CEAT studentry. Furthermore, the current political climate shows us how important it is to continue fighting disinformation and defending our academic freedom.
With UPLB Perspective’s initiative, we are glad to announce that the establishment of a CEAT student publication is on its way.
To begin with this, we are now calling for CEAT students who would like to be the first editor-in-chief of CEAT. The qualifications of the student shall be the following:
⚙️ Must be a bona fide student with at least one semester of residence at the University.
⚙️ Must be enrolled in any CEAT degree program by the time of the editorial examination
⚙️ Must not be an incumbent member of the CEAT SC or the University Student Council
Requirements:
⚙️ Letter of intent addressed to the CEAT SC Chairperson (Charlemagne Macarandan)
⚙️ Two (2) recommendation letters from CEAT Faculty
Dates to Remember:
⚙️ April 18: Deadline for Filing of Letter of Intent for EIC examinees
⚙️ April 19-23: Educational Discussions and Journalism Skills Training by College Editors Guild of the Philippines and UPLB Perspective
