The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs releases OVPAA Memorandum No. 2022-171. The memorandum contains the academic policies to be implemented in the next semester.
Here are the important provisions to take note of for the second semester of AY 2022-2023:
I. Second Semester A.Y. '22-'23 will span for 16-weeks with a Reading Break. Midyear will return to a 5-week format with No Reading break.
II. Class size policies are enforced but is up to the discretion of the Units.
III. Still no provision for 100% in-person classes. Classes will still be blended with either Model 2 or Model 3. However, it is required that all classes should have at least 50% of its components be delivered in a Face-to-Face set up.
IV. Learning hubs are encouraged to be identified in each CUs
V. Academic policies from OVPAA Memo No. 2022-127 are retained:

b. Degree Program Retention Rules
c. Maximum Residency Rule
d. Prerequisites
e. Grading System
f. Attendance
