UPLB CEAT endorses Nemo for 40th UP SR

Good day, mga ka-CEAT! 👋

The UPLB College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology endorses Nimuel O. Yangco's nomination for the 40th UP Student Regent. This came after the deliberation of the College Committee last June 23. The next stage of the 40th UP Student Regent Selection is the University-wide deliberations in which the two UPLB College Nominees will be deliberated for one to become the UPLB Nominee for the UP Student Regent.

Appeals or protests regarding the college-wide deliberations will be entertained starting today June 26 until July 7.

The SR is the sole representative of the 50,000 students from the whole UP System to the highest governing body in UP—the Board of Regents (BOR). Its role to maximize student representation is vital considering the repeated state incursions and attacks on academic freedom within the university.
