For one year, Marcos Jr. has done nothing but peddle false hopes and empty rhetoric, serving the interests of the privileged while neglecting the masses. Our hardworking Jeepney drivers and operators suffer under the malicious Jeepney modernization program, threatening their livelihoods and erasing the essence of our cherished public transportation culture. Our educators continue to struggle with meager salaries, facing overcrowded classrooms and inadequate resources, while the government prioritizes the enforcement of the Mandatory Reserve Officers Training Course (MROTC) over providing quality, accessible education.
The CEAT Student Council, refuse to be silenced by the grand illusion. Armed with hard facts and unwavering determination, it's high time to expose the deceitful narrative woven by Marcos Jr. We urge every Filipino to rise against this deception, demanding a nation built on genuine progress that truly serves the people's needs. No longer shall we tolerate empty promises that leave our nation in disarray.
Our fight for accountability and justice extends beyond the confines of our campus. The continuation of the Kaliwa Dam construction threatens the cultural heritage and livelihoods of indigenous communities. We condemn the disregard for their rights and dignity, refusing to accept a future built on their suffering and displacement.
