CEAT Deliberations for 40th UP Student Regent

CALLING ALL CEAT STUDENTS AND FORMATIONS

The UPLB College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology Student Council (CEATSC) has forwarded Nimuel O. Yangco, former CEAT Representative to the USC, as nominee for the 40th UP Student Regent (SR). With this, the CEATSC encourages every student to participate in the college-wide deliberations to be held on 23 June, Friday at 7 PM via Zoom and Facebook Live. The SR is the sole representative of the 50,000 students from the whole UP System to the highest governing body in UP—the Board of Regents (BOR). Its role to maximize student representation is vital considering the repeated state incursions and attacks on academic freedom within the university. As the student representative, the SR selection process must be stringent to forward the best student leader to protect students' rights and welfare.
