Nutrition Month

Official statement of the CEAT Student Council in Celebration of Nutrition Month

Nutrition Month

Did you know that aside from COVID-19, the Philippines has long been experiencing another silent pandemic affecting millions of low-income families and vulnerable populations in the country [1]?

Today, as we celebrate Nutrition Month, let this serve also as a reminder and a call to the administration to eradicate undernutrition in the Philippines. In light of the fact that 30% of children under five are stunted, the Philippine government should continue to engage in initiatives addressing childhood undernutrition [2].
